Tips & Tricks
As a marksman, Layla has high sustained damage but can’t take very many hits herself. Stay in the backline and attack the enemy front line, whoever is closest to you.
Because Layla gets more powerful as the match goes on, she is weakest early and benefits from being around teammates, especially the team’s support. Play carefully if your support is not with you and defend your lane.
Items
Demon Hunter Sword is a great item to help Layla output more damage to the enemy tanks, dealing extra damage scaling with their health. Windtalker is another good item, giving Layla movement speed to better kite damage and adding some Magic Damage to the mix.
Pair these items with Swift Boots for added attack speed and melt your enemies from range!
Abilities
Layla is good at abusing her range against melee champions and using her abilities for added burst and poke.
Don’t be afraid to snipe enemies with her ultimate, and remember it deals more damage the further away they are!
Emblems
Layla gets added physical attack and crit damage from the Marksman Emblem’s Bravery and Doom Talents. Weakness Finder enables her to slow enemies as they try to escape, making it even easier for her to finish them off and siege towers.
