Tips & Tricks

Sun uses his clones to psych out enemies and ambush them. He literally brings another hero to the fight with him, making it harder for enemies to react and kill him.

Sun has fighter stats, using his clones to soak up damage and help him push objectives. Don’t be afraid to use his doppelgängers to tank tower shots when pushing, having them hit the tower and allow you and your allies to hit it for longer, too!

Items

Corrosion Scythe works nicely with Sun’s kit, allowing him and his doppelgängers to simultaneously slow enemies and increase attack speed, maximizing damage for the life of the clones. Rush this along with Warrior Boots for an added defense boost so that Sun and his clone’s can’t be burst down too quickly.

Endless Battle can be bought next, especially when adapting a more assassin-like playstyle (ie. fighting a team without many tanks.) If you’re fighting burly tanks and need added damage against these large health enemies, rush Demon Hunter Sword instead.

Abilities

Use Endless Variety to attack and harass enemies from a safe distance. The move can also be used before trying to finish off a low enemy, letting the doppelgänger weaken the enemy’s defense with Sun’s passive before going in for the kill.

Instantaneous Move can be used to ambush targets and chase low-health fleeing enemies. Use the increase movement speed wisely.

Sun’s ultimate ability, Clone Techniques, can be used for particularly drawn out duels or to offer him some added sustain in team fights, with the clone taking the brunt of the hits and allowing Sun to heal up.

Emblems

Sun and his clones enjoy the Assassin emblem page, allowing them to move faster and chase enemies with Agility and penetrate armor with Invasion.

The Bounty Hunter talent grants extra gold for kills, helping Sun snowball ahead of enemies. Killing Spree is also a wise choice, giving Sun some added sustain when dueling opponents.
