Tips & Tricks
Bane has a variety of tools in his arsenal to outwit his opponents. With built in healing and buffs to his movement speed, he can sustain well and get himself out of sticky situations.
Even with the movement buff from his Rum, he’s still rather immobile, and his Fighter stats make him neither the best at dealing damage nor at absorbing it. Despite not being the best at anything, Bane’s diverse kit makes him a well-rounded hero.
Items
Endless Battle, Blade of Despair and his Warrior Boots will get Bane off to a good start with these three core items.
Attack items can then be built to push early advantages and snowball the match to victory, or more defensive items can be purchased to help Bane survive bad matchups.
Abilities
Crab Claw Cannon and the bounce that comes with it can give Bane some nice ranged damage.
The sustain from his Rum as well as the venom he can spit out help him to both go on the offensive or retreat defensively. Knowing how to bide your time and brew the venomous Rum is important to maximize its damage.
Bane’s ultimate ability is great in teamfights to dispel enemies and limit their ability to escape. It’s easily noticed and can be avoided if not timed properly. Consider waiting to use it until after a fight has been started or when enemies have been crowd controlled to make it less easy to avoid.
Emblems
Using the Fighter Emblem page for Bane works to increase his attack and penetration. Unbending Will gives him added damage as he loses health, which can increase his burst damage before he heals it up with Rum.
