Tips & Tricks
Belerick is a regenerating tank, able to poke and harass enemies while protecting his allies and keeping them safe.
He can stick with the team’s marksman in the early game, helping them have an easier time farming gold and items and assisting them with killing the enemy. He also can roam to help allies across the map.
In team fights, Belerick shines with a large area of effect immobilizing ultimate, capable of locking enemies down and letting his allies finish them off.
His Ancient Seeds that force enemies to attack him are great for drawing pressure off allies, allowing Belerick to tank the damage while controlling enemies.
Items
As a tank, Belerick supports his allies by taking damage and controlling enemies. Start building your Courage Mask at the beginning of the match so that you can roam and maintain gold and experience comparable to your allies.
After that, build defensively to take full advantage of Belerick’s tankiness and passive bonus health effects.
Items like Guardian Helmet greatly boost Belerick’s health. Late game items like Queen’s Wings can give Belerick some added durability in tense fights against fed enemy carries.
Blade Armor and battle spell Vengeance can make Belerick particularly well-equipped for taking out enemy marksmen with his taunt forcing them to Basic Attack him. Blade Armor returns some of their attacks back on them, with Vengeance doing the same while also regenerating health for Belerick.
Abilities
Belerick should primarily be using Ancient Seed to poke and harass enemies when not looking to engage with his ultimate. The taunt, paired with Blade Armor and/or Vengeance, can turn the enemy’s attacks against them while also freeing up his lane partner for follow-up damage free of retaliation for a second.
Nature’s Strike buffs Belerick, allowing him to make faster engages that are harder for the enemy to kite and enhancing his Basic Attacks, allowing him to restore his health more and more the lower he gets. Use Nature’s Strike in the middle of engages to sustain yourself, especially after proccing Tenacity.
Belerick’s ultimate ability, Wrath of Dryad, is a massive AoE immobilization, perfect for setting up fights with your team nearby. Belerick’s powerful crowd control prevents enemy escape and allows him to follow up with Ancient Seed, keeping enemies locked down and allowing allies to follow up. Work with your team to plan your ultimate engages, making sure teammates are ready and able to capitalize on it.
Emblems
Belerick benefits most from the Tank emblem page, with upgrades in Firmness and Fortress boosting his Physical Defenses. Tenacity helps him survive burst damage, boosting his defenses considerably when his health gets low, allowing Belerick to ensure that he can get an enhanced Basic Attack off and heal up to stay in the fight.
